These thatch cottages are part of a pre-famine village and are restored in authentic style full of character and charm but extremely, comfortable.

The cottages sit in beautiful gardens with winding paths leading to a garden room ,vine covered bar-b-que area and water features ,while flights of stone steps lead to a quite wooded area with old ruins.

The rural setting of old farms, meadows with "lacy" stone walls , winding laneways and boreens (hedges) with whitethorn and wild fuschia , all add to the character of this "step back in time" visit.

The area is surrounded by scenic walks with views over Galway Bay and Lough Corrib . The cottages are situated one and a half miles from Galway city and on the direct route to Connemara . There is Horse-riding ,Golf courses, Beaches and lake fishing in the immediate vicinity.

"An Buntsop" would be a perfect venue for a family get-together or a group of friends reunion, where all three cottages, the garden room and barbeque area and extensive gardens, would be for their sole use.
