Its a place where people come to read, lie in the sun (when we have sun), or just generally lounge about. On the outskirts of "The Green" are the famous "Great Southern Hotel", "The Eyre Square Shopping Centre" and "The Quincentennial Fountain" (pictured above) as well as many other shops and pubs.
